Acaime Hike and Picnic


Your hike begins in the Cocora Valley at around 2,450 metres. You first pass through Andean plane trees and towering wax palms before entering the cloud forest, where lianas, bromeliads, orchids and ferns thrive. Crossing suspension bridges, you reach Acaime reserve at 2,700 metres, where hummingbirds gather. The return takes you through rolling hills and picturesque haciendas, finishing with a beautifully arranged private picnic set-up in a scenic spot.
