Le Toiny feels more like a collection of private villas than a hotel. We particularly love the contrast between the peaceful hillside suites and the wonderfully laid-back Beach Club, reached by a shuttle down to the wild Atlantic coastline. It's a side of St Barts that many visitors never see, and a refreshing alternative to the island's more glamorous, high-profile resorts.

St Barts has no international airport, so most visitors arrive via St Martin, followed by a spectacular 15-minute flight to St Barts’ small airport. Alternatively, you can connect through San Juan in Puerto Rico, with a flight of approximately one hour. Private charter flights can also be arranged. On arrival, Le Toiny is around 15–20 minutes away by road, with transfers arranged by the hotel.

However, Anse de Toiny is exposed to strong Atlantic currents and is unsuitable for swimming. Families wanting calm, sheltered beaches will need to explore elsewhere on the island.
Le Toiny occupies a 17-hectare tropical palm grove, with its suites spread across the hillside. The hotel has introduced measures to reduce single-use plastics, conserve water and prioritise seasonal ingredients and local suppliers.
